The first full trailer has launched for new animated movie Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse.
Alongside the trailer, Sony Pictures Animation have confirmed that Hailee Steinfeld (Bumblebee), Mahershala Ali (Moonlight), Jake Johnson (New Girl), Liev Schreiber (Ray Donovan), Brian Tyree Henry (Atlanta), Luna Lauren Velez (Dexter) and Lily Tomlin (Grace & Frankie) have joined the voice cast alongside Shameik Moore.
Moore is voicing Miles Morales, the central character, and the trailer gives you a first-look at what’s to come when the movie arrives in cinemas.

Jake Johnson will voice Milesā reluctant mentor, Peter Parker, with Liev Schreiber voicing the larger-than-life crime lord Kingpin. Hailee Steinfeld voices the spunky, free-spirited Spider-Gwen, Mahershala Ali voices Milesā influential uncle Aaron, Brian Tyree Henry voices Milesā father Jefferson, Luna Lauren Velez voices Milesā mother Rio, and Lily Tomlin voices Aunt May.
Commenting on the announcement, producers Phil Lord and Christopher Miller said, āWe are lucky to have such an amazing cast of funny, genuine creative souls to populate the Spider-verse. They have generous minds and great big hearts. And they have very talented throats. Which is where their delightful voices come from.ā
Lord and Miller continued: āWe canāt wait for the world to see Miles Morales on the big screen. Heās such a fun and exciting new character, and telling his story through a revolutionary visual style makes for a totally fresh cinematic experience that, if we may say so, is freaking amazing.ā
Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse is directed by Bob Persichetti, Peter Ramsey, and Rodney Rothman with a screenplay by Phil Lord.
The film will be released in cinemas on 14th December 2018.
