Sky Cinema to launch dedicated Halloween channel this month

Sky Cinema has announced that it’s launching a dedicated channel to celebrate the Halloween season.

Launching on 23rd October and running until 31st October 2017, Sky Cinema Halloween will be available on Sky Channel 303. Horror fans can expect to see some of the greatest scary movies of all-time including the original Halloween starring Jamie Lee Curtis, Rosemary’s Baby and Silence of the Lambs.

Other films that will be shown on the channel include John Carpenter’s The Thing, Stephen King adaptations Carrie and Pet Sematary and more recent horrors such as Ouija: Origin of Evil and The Girl With All The Gifts.

Sky Cinema Animation will host a ‘Family Frights Day’ with films such as Coraline, Frankenweenie, The Nightmare Before Christmas and Monster House.

Group Director of Sky Cinema Ian Lewis said: “Sky Cinema Halloween is the latest of our dedicated genre channels and brings together over 50 scary movies for a non-stop week of horror. With a range of classics and recent releases there is something for everyone, and it is another great example of the continued innovation that helps to make Sky Cinema the UK and Ireland’s leading in-home movies service.”

Sky Cinema Halloween is offered at no extra cost to Sky Cinema subscribers.
