Rooftop & Underground Film Club banish Jan blues

If going back to work wasn’t depressing enough, it’s also cold outside. But those clever souls at the Rooftop Film Club and the Underground Film Club are still flying the flag of fun during these bitter Winter nights.

After an enchanted Christmas run that included such gems as Home Alone, Gremlins and It’s A Wonderful Life, The Underground Film Club is still running in the intimate surroundings of The Vaults in Waterloo. Their slate continues throughout January with highlights including Amelie, The Shawshank Redemption, The Big Lebowski, Some Like It Hot and The Notebook.

The Rooftop Film Club was the mainstay of outdoor summer film in 2014 and they have returned to the world famous Kensington Roof Gardens this week for a very limited run. There’s still time to get yourself down to the amazing high-rise location for old and new classics like Top Gun, Pride, Bridget Jones’s Diary and Dirty Dancing. Check out our review of Rooftop Film Club’s presentation of Romeo & Juliet from last summer for more info on how it all works.

For ticket details and full programme listings, check out the Underground Film Club and the Rooftop Film Club websites.
