Last night the world premiere of RoboCop took place at the BFI IMAX in London.
As the stars walked the red carpet they were asked by IMAX to pitch the new film in 20 seconds to tempt movie-goers to buy themselves some tickets. Stars that took part included Joel Kinnaman and Abbie Cornish.
RoboCop is one of the most-anticipated movies of the year and last night’s red-carpet event definitely kept the buzz going. The film’s director Jose Padhilha praised the IMAX premiere of the movie saying, “IMAX is a better way of watching movies so this is a dream come true for me. I’m so happy everyone gets to see Robocop in IMAX tonight.”
