Noel Clarke’s Brotherhood gets a 12A & Explicit trailer

Two brand new full trailers (a 12A and a Explicit version) has just been released for Brotherhood, which lands in cinemas on 29th August.

Noel Clarke returns to write, direct and star in the final chapter of his urban trilogy.

Tonia Sotiropoulou, Steven Cree, Olivia Chenery, Nick Nevern, Arnold Oceng, Adjoa Andoh, Ashley Thomas, Jason Maza, Jack McMullen and Cornell John co-star in the movie.

Brotherhood is a continuation of the original story from previous films in the urban franchise, Kidulthood and Adulthood. Both titles were critically and commercially successful in the UK and worldwide.

Brotherhood follows Sam as he faces up to the new world after Adulthood and realizes it also comes with new problems and new challenges.

Sam knows that to survive he must face his issues head on, and knows he will require old friends to help him survive new dangers. Noel Clarke reprises the role of Sam Peel with breakthrough Grime artist Stormzy appearing alongside him as Yardz.

In June 2008, Adulthood exceeded industry expectations, grossing £1.2 million and taking the no. 1 spot at the UK box office during its opening weekend.

Unstoppable Productions and Maggie Monteith’s Carpalla Films will co-produce the feature. Josephine Rose and Chris Reed take on Exec Producer roles. Lionsgate Film Distribution has acquired the rights for the UK.
