New Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse extended sneak-peek & artwork revealed

Anticipation is building up nicely for Sony’s newest iteration of Spider-Man in the feature-length animated movie; Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. Brand new artwork has just been revealed, along with a brilliant new sneak-peek that gives you a great idea how the movie will play out.

This new Spider-Man brings into play the famed Spider-Verse, a multi-dimensional arc that has different Spider-people from different universes in a ‘What if…?’ style.

The extended international sneak peek video covers some great scenes including Peter Parker imparting wisdom and know-how on Miles Morales as he learns to be Spider-Man.

Directed by Bob Persichetti, Peter Ramsey and Rodney Rothman, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse has a screenplay by Phil Lord and Rodney Rothman. The film is produced by Avi Arad, Amy Pascal, Phil Lord, Christopher Miller and Christina Steinberg.

Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, the genius minds behind the global box-office smash hits The Lego Movie and 21 Jump Street, bring their unique vision and talent to the Sony/Marvel universe. This fresh version offers up a different Spider-Man Universe, with a groundbreaking visual style that’s the first of its kind. Just check out the trailer to get a good sense of how it all looks.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse introduces Brooklyn teenager Miles Morales, and the limitless possibilities of the Spider-Verse, where more than one can wear the mask.

It has an incredible cast too, with Shameik Moore as Miles Morales, New Girl’s Jake Johnson as Peter Parker and Hailee Steinfeld as Gwen aka Spider-Gwen.

Mahershala Ali, Brian Tyree Henry, Luna Lauren Velez, Lily Tomlin, John Mulaney, Kimiko Glenn, Liev Schreiber and Nicolas Cage round off an impressive vocal cast.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse opens in cinemas on 12th December, with special previews happening on the 8th and 9th December 2018.
