A new clip has been released for upcoming comedy Spy.
Starring Melissa McCarthy and Rose Byrne, the clip is entitled ‘Sad Clown’ and sees McCarthy’s Susan meeting with Byrne’s Raina Boyanov on an airplane. It gives a taster of the hilarious comedy to come when the movie is released in June.
Susan Cooper (Melissa McCarthy) is an unassuming, deskbound CIA analyst, and the unsung hero behind the Agency’s most dangerous missions. But when her partner (Jude Law) falls off the grid and another top agent (Jason Statham) is compromised, she volunteers to go deep undercover to infiltrate the world of a deadly arms dealer, and prevent a global disaster.
Melissa McCarthy stars alongside Jude Law, Jason Statham and Rose Byrne in the comedy.
Spy will be released in UK cinemas on 5th June 2015 and is directed by Paul Feig (Bridesmaids).
