La La Land picked up a record 7 awards at last night’s Golden Globes.
The 74th Golden Globe Awards awarded the film some of the night’s top honours including Best actor (comedy/musical) for Ryan Gosling, Best actress (comedy/musical) for Emma Stone and Best film director for Damien Chazelle.
Also winning big last night was The Night Manager, which picked up three awards for the performances of Hugh Laurie, Tom Hiddleston and Olivia Colman.
Other winners included Donald Glover’s FX series Atlanta with two wins, Viola Davis for her supporting turn in Fences and American Crime Story: The People v OJ Simpson, which picked up two awards.
Streaming services were well represented with Netflix’s The Crown picking up two awards and Amazon Prime Video’s Goliath picking up one award.
The awards took place at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California.
