Halloween roared back into cinemas in October and it’s just been announced that it will be released on Digital on 11th February followed by on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD on 25th February 2019.
Resurrecting the franchise, Halloween 2018 is a direct sequel to the original 1978 film. Jamie Lee Curtis reprises her iconic role as Laurie Strode and comes face-to-face with Michael Myers for one final battle.
Forty years after the events of 1978ās Halloween, Laurie Strode (Curtis) now lives in a heavily guarded home on the edge of Haddonfield, where sheās spent decades preparing for Michaelās potential return. After being locked up in an institution, Myers manages to escape when a bus transfer goes terribly wrong, leading to chaos in the same town he preyed on decades earlier. Laurie now faces a terrifying showdown when the deranged killer returns for her and her family ā but this time, sheās ready for him.
John Carpenter returns to produce and compose the score with David Gordon Green (Pineapple Express) directing and Jason Blum, Male Akkad and Bill Block producing.
The film stars Jamie Lee Curtis, Judy Greer, Andi Matichak, Will Patton and Virginia Gardner.
The release is packed with bonus features including chilling deleted and extended scenes as well as special featurettes showing behind-the-scenes looks at creating the film, Halloween delivers spine-chilling, hair-raising intensity and thrills to both new and repeat viewers.
