The Grand Budapest Hotel leads BAFTA Film Awards nominations

The nominations for the EE British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA) in 2015 have been announced.

The Grand Budapest Hotel leads the nominations picking up 11 with Birdman and The Theory of Everything following with 10 nominations each. The Imitation Games has picked up 9 nominations, Boyhood and Whiplash have picked up 5 nominations, and Mr. Turner, Nightcrawler and Interstellar have each picked up four nominations.

One of the big British hits of last year, Pride, has picked up three nominations.

The EE British Academy Film Awards take place on Sunday 8 February at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, London.

The ceremony will be hosted by Stephen Fry and will be broadcast exclusively on BBC One and BBC One HD, preceded by a red carpet show on BBC Three. The ceremony is also broadcast in all major territories around the world.
