The waiting is almost over… the first teaser trailer for Frozen 2 is here!
The sequel to the 2013 box office smash will be released in cinemas, in the US at least, on 22nd November 2019. Take a look at the teaser below:
In the teaser Elsa (Idina Menzel) is seen trying to run across a vicious sea using her ice powers to help her. After a failed attempt, she manages to get further ending up on a rock before being swept under by the current.
There are quick glimpses of two new characters and a much darker tone than the original film. Not much is known about the plot at this point but that will all be revealed in the coming months.
Frozen II is directed by Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck, and produced by Peter Del Vecho. Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, Jonathan Groff and Josh Gad will all reprise their roles as part of the film’s voice cast. Evan Rachel Wood and Sterling K. Brown will voice new characters.
The film features music from songwriters Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez.
