The lunar sequences in Damien Chazelle’s latest film were filmed with IMAX cameras and they give the film a really unique visual platform. This is only happening in IMAX, allowing moviegoers to experience the film the way it was truly intended by the director.
Coupling those awe-inspiring images on the biggest screen with IMAX’s sensational, one-of-a-kind sound technology set-up means audiences will be fully immersed, and feel like they are truly a part of this remarkable true story.
First Man stars Gosling alongside Claire Foy, Jason Clarke, Kyle Chandler, Patrick Fugit, Ciaran Hinds, Ethan Embry, Shea Whigham, Corey Stoll and Pablo Schreiber.
