Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald coming to Blu-ray and DVD in March

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald will be released on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, 3D Blu-ray and DVD on 18th March 2019.

The film will be released on Digital Download a little earlier on 9th March 2019.

An extended cut of the film with more than seven minutes of deleted scenes added will be available as a bonus disc with the 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and 3D Blu-ray release.

At the end of the first film, the powerful Dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald (Johnny Depp) was captured by MACUSA (Magical Congress of the United States of America), with the help of Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne). But, making good on his threat, Grindelwald escaped custody and has set about gathering followers, most unsuspecting of his true agenda: to raise pure-blood wizards up to rule over all non-magical beings.

In an effort to thwart Grindelwald’s plans, Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) enlists his former student Newt Scamander, who agrees to help, unaware of the dangers that lie ahead. Lines are drawn as love and loyalty are tested, even among the truest friends and family, in an increasingly divided wizarding world.

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald features an ensemble cast led by Johnny Depp (Pirates of the Caribbean), Eddie Redmayne (The Theory of Everything), Jude Law (Sherlock Holmes), Katherine Waterston (Inherent Vice), Dan Fogler (The Walking Dead), Alison Sudol (Transparent), Ezra Miller (The Perks of Being a Wallflower), Zoë Kravitz (Mad Max: Fury Road), Callum Turner (Green Room), Claudia Kim (Avengers: Age of Ultron), William Nadylam (Kirikou and the Sorceress), Kevin Guthrie (Sunshine on Leith), Carmen Ejogo (Selma) and Poppy Corby-Tuech (Harlots).

The film is directed by David Yates, from a screenplay by J.K. Rowling. It is produced by David Heyman, Rowling, Steve Kloves and Lionel Wigram. Tim Lewis, Neil Blair, Rick Senat and Danny Cohen serve as executive producers.
