More footage has been released for Baywatch in the form of a Superbowl TV Spot.
Starring Dwayne Johnson as Mitch Buchannon and Zac Efron as Matt Brody, the film is a reboot of the popular TV show that starred David Hasselhoff.
Baywatch follows devoted lifeguard Mitch Buchanan (Johnson) as he butts heads with a brash new recruit (Efron). Together, they uncover a local criminal plot that threatens the future of the Bay.
Laced with a healthy dose of comedy, action and adventure, Baywatch looks to have gone down the 21 Jump Street route of reboots, hopefully ushering in a new film franchise based on the biggest TV series of the 90s.
The Baywatch film co-stars Alexandra Daddario, Priyanka Chopra, Ilfenesh Hadera and Rob Huebel, with Kelly Rohrbach playing C.J. Parker, the role first made famous by Pamela Anderson.
There’s also rumoured cameos from the likes of David Hasselhoff, Pamela Anderson and hopefully a few more familiar faces from the classic TV show. We’d love to see Erika Eleniak, Billy Warlock and Parker Stevenson make an appearance!
Baywatch opens in cinemas on 31st May 2017.
