A brand new featurette has arrived for Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle.
Jake Kasdan is in the directors chair, using a screenplay from Chris McKenna, Jeff Pinkner, Scott Rosenberg, Erik Sommers and Chris Van Allsburg.
Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle opens in cinemas in December and is a follow-up to the popular Robin Williams film Jumanji, which co-starred Kirsten Dunst.
In the brand new adventure Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, the tables are turned as four teenagers in detention are sucked into the world of Jumanji.
When they discover an old video game console with a game they’ve never heard of, they are immediately thrust into the game’s jungle setting, into the bodies of their avatars, played by Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, Kevin Hart, and Karen Gillan.
What they discover is that you don’t just play Jumanji –Jumanji plays you. They’ll have to go on the most dangerous adventure of their lives, or they’ll be stuck in the game forever…
Co-starring in Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle are Bobby Cannavale, Missi Pyle …
Coach Webb, Maribeth Monroe, Rhys Darby, Alex Wolff and Tim Matheson.
The premise of the film looks to be sound, and with a nice nod in the direction of the original, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle looks to be a good continuation to the popular first film, which is still a firm favourite for legions of fans around the world.
Plus it uses Guns N’ Roses ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ in the trailer so that’s a win!
The film is due in cinemas on 20th December, perfect for the Christmas holidays.
