Dwayne Johnson’s quest to be Hollywood’s next action hero continues with the arrival of the trail for Skyscraper.
The action-packed trailer shows Johnson battling his way into a skyscraper that’s on fire to save his family. It all looks very Die Hard and Johnson has definitely been taking some serious tips from Bruce Willis’ John McClain.

Starring alongside Johnson in the high stakes summer blockbuster is Pablo Schreiber (Den of Thieves), Neve Campbell (Scream), and Roland Møller (Atomic Blonde). The film also stars Chin Han, Noah Taylor, Byron Mann and Hannah Quinlivan.
Skyscraper is written and directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber (Central Intelligence, We’re the Millers), and produced by Beau Flynn (San Andreas, Baywatch), Johnson, Thurber and Hiram Garcia (San Andreas, Central Intelligence).
The synopsis for the movie is:
Global icon Dwayne Johnson leads the cast of Legendary’s Skyscraper as former FBI Hostage Rescue Team leader and U.S. war veteran Will Sawyer, who now assesses security for skyscrapers. On assignment in China he finds the tallest, safest building in the world suddenly ablaze, and he’s been framed for it. A wanted man on the run, Will must find those responsible, clear his name and somehow rescue his family who is trapped inside the building…above the fire line.
