Santa Claus: The Movie was released in 1985 and any child from the 80s will tell you it was on all the time when they were growing up. Directed by Jeannot Szwarc, the film starred Dudley Moore, John Lithgow, David Huddleston, Judy Cornwell and Burgess Meredith.
Santa Claus: The Movie is the story of a master toymaker who discovers a magical kingdom of elves in the North Pole and becomes Santa Claus. But when Santa’s eager-to-please elf Patch leaves the North Pole for the big streets of New York City, he becomes mixed up with a dastardly toy tycoon’s plans to take over Christmas.
And so begins Santa’s adventure – to rescue his faithful elf and to save Christmas for all the children of the world!
Santa Claus: The Movie is pure escapist fun that captures the spirit of the holiday and will entertain the whole family. If you’ve never seen it, you need to rectify that immediately!
