A new featurette for The Book Thief has been released focusing on director Brian Percival.
In the featurette, Percival talks about how the original novel became a bible for the cast and crew, and how author Markus Zusak had faith in his vision. “I wanted to do The Book Thief, no matter what”, comments Percival, “The strength of this film and its message is so beautiful.”
The Book Thief is due for release in February 2014 and stars Geoffrey Rush, Emily Watson and Sophie Nelisse.
