To celebrate the release of the new Michael Keaton movie The Founder, out in UK cinemas on 17th February, Studiocanal have teamed up with BRGR.CO to bring you The Founder BRGR.
Bespoke and delicious The Founder BRGR contains two Blade steak patties with melted cheese, shredded iceburg lettuce, pickled gherkins and the secret recipe BRGR.CO sauce, in a triple layer sesame bun.
The Founder BRGR will launch in both BRGR.CO’s venues – Soho and King’s Road on Monday 13th February and will remain available to the public for two weeks until 26th February.
The Founder is a drama that tells the true story of how Ray Kroc (Keaton), a salesman from Illinois, met Mac and Dick McDonald, who were running a burger operation in 1950s Southern California. Kroc was impressed by the brothers’ speedy system of making the food and saw franchise potential. He maneuvered himself into a position to be able to pull the company from the brothers and create a billion-dollar empire.
Directed by John Lee Hancock (Saving Mr. Banks, The Blind Side), the film stars Academy-Award nominated Michael Keaton (Birdman, Spotlight), Nick Offerman (Fargo, Welcome to Happiness, 21 Jump Street), John Carroll Lynch (The Invitation, Ted 2), Linda Cardellini (Mad Men), B.J Novak (Inglourious Basterds) and Laura Dern (99 Homes, Jurassic Park).
BRGR.CO is the only burger restaurant in London that offers three different blends of steak in their patties – Blade, Hanger and Rump. With two sites in Soho and Chelsea, BRGR.CO came to the UK in 2012 and has become a firm favourite amongst burger fans due to only using the finest cuts of meat from grass-fed Scottish cattle.
In late February they’ll be competing as finalists in the National Burger Awards.
The Founder BRGR will be on sale in BRGR.CO’s two venues: 187 Wardour Street, London, W1F 8ZB and 127 Kings Road, London SW3 4PW.
