Awards-season favourite American Hustle finally has a UK DVD & Blu-ray release date. Take home David O. Russell’s all star crime drama, which comes out on April 28th.
American Hustle tells the absorbing story of a brilliant con-man named Irving Rosenfeld (Christian Bale – The Dark Knight), who along with his equally cunning partner and lover Sydney Prosser (Amy Adams – Man of Steel) is forced to work for a wildly unhinged FBI agent named Richie DiMaso (Bradley Cooper – Silver Linings Playbook).
DiMaso pushes them into a world of Jersey powerbrokers and the Mafia that’s as dangerous as it is enchanting. Jeremy Renner (Avengers Assemble) is Carmine Polito, the passionate New Jersey political candidate caught between the con-artists and Federal law. Irving’s unpredictable wife Rosalyn (Jennifer Lawrence – The Hunger Games) could be the one person to pull the thread that brings their entire world crashing down.
American Hustle will be released by Entertainment in Video on DVD and Blu-Ray on April 28th 2014.
