The release of 300: Rise of an Empire is drawing ever closer and a new TV spot titled War Pigs has been released.
The 30-second spot features epic scenes from the movie including the highly stylized battle scenes that were iconic from the original 300 movie. You catch glimpses of Rodrigo Santoro as Xerxes, Eva Green as Artemsia and Sullivan Stapleton as Themistokles.
300: Rise of an Empire pits Themistokles against the massive invading Persian forces led by mortal-turned-god Xerxes, and Artemisia, vengeful commander of the Persian navy. The movie is based on Frank Miller’s latest graphic novel Xerxes and features the same cinematic style as 300. Noam Murro directs, from a screenplay by Zack Snyder & Kurt Johnstad.
The movie will be released in UK cinemas on 7th March. Check out the new TV spot below.
