Ashley Campbell, Kiefer Sutherland, Sam Palladio among artists added to Black Deer Festival

Ashley Campbell, Kiefer Sutherland and Sam Palladio lead the next wave of acts announced for the first-ever Black Deer Festival, taking place from 22nd – 24th June 2018.

They will be joined host of artists added to the bill today including The Webb Sisters, Stu Larsen, The Sheepdogs, Rev Sekou, Wildwood Kin, Sonia Leigh, Wade Bowen, Broken Witt Rebels, Jarrod Dickenson, Whiskey Shivers, Ben Danaher, Alexander McKay and Steve Young.

The Wandering Hearts, the winners of Bob Harrisā€™ Emerging Artist awards at this year’s UK Americana Awards, will also be performing at the festival.

Commenting on being part of Black Deer Festival the band said, ā€œWe can’t wait to get up to Black Deer this year. The line up is incredible and were hugely excited and honoured to be a part of it!ā€

It has also been announced that the AMA UK (Americana Music Association UK) will be supporting the event, with more details to follow in due course.

Black Deer Festival is set over three days in the outdoor location of Eridge Park near Tunbridge Wells in Kent. Fans will be treated to Americana and Country music spread over 5 stages throughout the three days.

The festival will introduce Live Fire, a concept area developed especially for Black Deer by the pioneers of the American BBQ scene in the UK, introducing best-selling cookbook authors, food writers and founders of Grillstock, Jon Finch and Ben Merrington.

There will be southern style street traders and interactive demos from:

Jon Finch & Ben Merrington – Grillstock Founders & cookbook authors
Ray ‘Dr.BBQ’ Lampe – BBQ Hall of Famer, Godfather of BBQ
