Chase Bryant talks about teaching himself to produce music

Chase Bryant has been playing all over C2C: Country to Country this weekend and he took some time to sit down and talk to international press.

Talking about being in the UK Chase revealed, ‘This is my first time here. We’ve been talking about coming over here a lot. The fans are really amazing here. I’m absolutely astounded by the fact that they know the music. I’m ready to come back any time you guys allow us to.’

He opened up about how his love for guitar started. ‘I feel in love with guitar. I was a kid that was picked on at school and I was the odd kid.’

Chase revealed that he’d taught himself to be a record producer. ‘I didn’t have much gear when I moved to town. I set up a studio in a little cupboard (in my apartment) and started doing gnarly demos. The majority of my hits were cut in there.’

Growing up Chase has been surrounded by musical influences with members of his family finding success in the industry, so it’s no surprise he’s forged a similar path.

Discussing his performances at C2C Chase said, ‘This has been a surreal moment for me. I teared up about it. For a kid like me from a town where a lot of people said I’d never amount to anything, this is like a whole new world to me.’

Chase Bryant is performing at C2C: Country to Country across the weekend.
