Brad Paisley is one Country music star that has always shown a lot of love to his UK fans having toured over here many times over his career.
The singer/songwriter/guitarist will be headlining C2C: Country to Country for the second time this year and he’ll be the first headliner of the weekend on the main stage. With a career that’s coming up to 20 years in duration, Brad is one of the most enduring and celebrated male artists in the genre with sales of over 12 million.
Brad released his debut album Who Needs Pictures in 1999 and it hit Platinum in the US. With 10 studio albums under his belt, Brad will release his eagerly awaited 11th album, Love and War, in April this year. Fans have already had a sneak peek at what’s to come with the release of single Today, which is the set’s lead track.
Over his career to date Brad has notched up an incredible 19 number ones in the US and he’s built himself quite the hardcore fanbase. He surprised fans last year by releasing a duet with popstar Demi Lovato – Without a Fight. That song received heavy radio play and drew some pop fans into the world of Country.
Brad will no doubt be playing some of his best-known hits as part of his C2C set and fans should expect some selections from Love and War too. The tour comes following the end of his epic Life Amplified Tour, which kicked off in May 2016 and came to a close earlier this month.
I can’t think of a more perfect way to close out the first day of this year’s festival.
C2C: Country to Country takes place at The O2 Arena in London from Friday 10th to Sunday 12th March 2017. For more information head over to www.c2c-countrytocountry.com.
