Did that really happen? That’s the question we asked when the latest episode of Bates Motel came to a close.
Norman (Freddie Highmore) attempted to flood the Bates house with carbon monoxide to kill him and Norma (Vera Farmiga). Romero (Nestor Carbonell) arrived and found them unconscious on Norma’s bed. He successfully managed to save Norman but tragically he was too late to save Norma’s life.
Prior to that Dylan (Max Thieriot) said his goodbyes after failing to get Norma to tell him what she knew about the disappearance of Emma’s (Olivia Cooke) mother, Romero tried to enlist Dylan’s help to stage an intervention with Norma about Norman, and Norma decided to end her marriage to Romero.
The next episode of the season is Norman. Norman tries to put together a special event for Norma, while Dylan faces a conflict. Will Romero have to deal with the consequences of his actions?
