Arrow’s seventh season picked up five months after the end of season six and saw Oliver (Stephen Amell) struggling to adjust to life in prison.
Attempting to keep a low profile, Oliver was targeted by some of the people he’d put in prison and by men working for Diaz (Kirk Acevedo). He also spent his time fearing that Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) and William (Jack Moore), who were in hiding, would be found by Diaz and murdered.
On the outside Diggle (David Ramsey) and A.R.G.U.S. tried to locate Diaz to stop him from going after Oliver’s family. Diaz found them but A.R.G.U.S. stepped in and Felicity made the difficult decision to separate from William to keep him safe.
Elsewhere Dinah (Juliana Harkavy) tried to keep the former members of Team Arrow on the straight and narrow when a Green Arrow imposter showed up. Rene (Rick Gonzalez) was warned by Dinah by he would be arrested if he went back to his vigilante ways.
Throughout the episode we saw a flashforward to 20 years in the future. William (Ben Lewis) travelled to Lian Yu to find Roy Harper (Colton Haynes).
The next episode of the season is The Longbow Hunters. Oliver must align with an old enemy to track down Diaz; Felicity’s attempts to root out Diaz are thwarted by Diggle, whose allegiance to ARGUS requires him to keep civilians like her on the outs; Felicity resolves to find a new way to go after Diaz.
