The X Factor 2014 week 5 elimination prediction

The X Factor 2014 continues tonight at 8pm on ITV and someone will be leaving the competition (and missing out on being part of The X Factor).

Last night’s show was pretty poor so to be honest the majority of the 9 acts left should be worried about their place on the competition. Fleur East, Ben Haenow and Andrea Faustini were the three that actually pulled off great performances so we suspect they will be safe.

Keep reading to find out who we think will be in the bottom two and who weathink will be leaving the competition tonight.

Jay James

We know that Jay had vocal problems this week but his performance of The Show Must Go On by Queen last night wasn’t brilliant. Despite what he said to the judges and Dermot, it was clear that Jay knew he’d not done his best last night.

Don’t Stop Me Now is one of the most infectious, feel-good songs that Queen ever recorded. You wouldn’t know that by Paul’s performance last night which was flatter than a pancake. The constant moaning about his song choices and complaining about his performance is wearing a bit thin.

Who will go?

Unless he gets the sympathy vote we think it’s Jay James that will be packing his bags tonight. We haven’t really been blown away by him at all during the live shows and we often agree with Cheryl’s critique. We’d much rather see Paul stay.

The X Factor 2014 continues tonight at 8pm on ITV. Tune in to find out if our predictions are right.
