Who will win The X Factor 2014?

The X Factor 2014 will come to a close this weekend as the three finalists fight it out to be crowned the winner.

Fleur East, Ben Haenow and Andrea Faustini will sing for their lives and hoping for public votes to take them to victory. Judges Simon Cowell, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, Louis Walsh and Tulisa (who is stepping in for Mel B) will be there to comment but they have no power to eliminate anyone from the competition.

We’ve been reviewing the performances of the final three over the series and we’re making our prediction as to who will be crowned the winner and what order the final 3 will finish in.

Third place…

Andrea Faustini

We think the loveable Italian with the big voice will finish in third place. Whilst he’s the best singer left in the competition, he doesn’t have the performance skills of Fleur or the versatility of Ben. We’re sure he’ll get a record deal and we expect an album of covers around Mother’s Day but we don’t see Andrea being ‘the next big popstar’ as Louis would say.

Second place…

Ben Haenow

Ben Haenow is our pick for this year’s runner-up. Mel B might moan on about his lack of ‘light and shade’ but we think he’s been the most consistent of the male contestants this series. Ben is hugely likeable and we think he has a chance at getting a decent career after the show. With Simon Cowell in his corner he could be this year’s Olly Murs.

First place…

Fleur East

It’ll come as no surprise to anyone that we’ve got Fleur East pegged as the winner. Without Fleur this series of The X Factor would have been dull, dull, dull. Simon has done a fantastic job with Fleur and she’s got the whole package; she can sing, she can dance and she can perform. Uptown Funk changed everything for her and if she doesn’t win we’ll be eating our hats, your hats and any other hats we can get our grubby little hands on.

Tune in to The X Factor at 8.30pm tonight for the first part of the grand final.
