A meteor shower struck outside the dome on the latest episode of Under the Dome.
Protected by the mysterious dome, the residents of Chester’s Mill tried to find a way to communicate with those on the outside so they could safely get them inside the dome. Barbie (Mike Vogel) suggested they send a signal from Bird Island but the plan didn’t work and he watched those on the outside become enveloped by the firestorm.
Elsewhere Junior (Alexander Koch) targeted Sam (Eddie Cahill) after being told by Christine (Marg Helgenberger) to bring him to her after he stabbed her. Joe (Colin Ford) and Norrie (Mackenzie Lintz) tried to keep Hunter (Max Ehrich) safe and realised that emotions were the way to get through to the people infected by Christine, and Big Jim (Dean Norris) and Julia (Rachelle Lefevre) traded regrets whilst drinking together.
The next episode of the season is Breaking Point. As Christine directs the townsfolk on a massive excavation project in the caves, a small group bands together to form a resistance.
