Top 5 The X Factor 2015 week 4 live show performances

The X Factor 2015 served up a shock twist last night as another act was eliminated from the competition.

Mason Noise hung up his mic and left the competition after receiving the lowest number of votes from the public following his performance of Nick Jonas’ Jealous. Honestly we weren’t all that surprised as his vocal was poor and his performance sadly couldn’t save it.

After reviewing all of the performances from Love & Heartbreak week, we’ve selected the five that we enjoyed the most. Keep reading to find out who made the cut…

5. 4th Impact – Ain’t No Other Man

We’re going to be really honest here and admit that 4th Impact are only in our Top 5 because we had to choose a fifth performance from the night. Their vocals were pretty poor during their solo moments but their energy and harmonies saved their bacon.

4. Che Chesterman – Yesterday

We weren’t a fan of Che’s version of Yesterday at all and couldn’t disagree more with the judges who said this is the kind of record Che should release. We really hope he doesn’t get turned into a covers singer after the show as he has the potential to go down the Adele / Sam Smith route if he’s managed properly. Despite not enjoying the song, we did love his vocal.

3. Reggie N Bollie – Dangerous Love and Shut Up And Dance

We really don’t want to love Reggie N Bollie but we just do. They bring smiles to our faces and the competition would definitely be boring without them. Their performance lifted the energy in the studio and was a highlight of the night.

2. Lauren Murray – We Belong Together

Whatever Simon was listening to, it wasn’t the same as us! Lauren’s vocal was flawless and tackling a Mariah classic is no easy thing to do. We Belong Together is a tough song to sing but Lauren did it really well and she hit those big notes at the end.

1. Louisa Johnson – Let It Go

We’ve been critical of Louisa over the weeks but last night she stole the show. She did to James Bay’s Let It Go what Leona Lewis did to Snow Patrol’s Run. We could see this being a hit for her and her vocal was out of this world.

The X Factor 2015 continues tonight at 8pm as one more act will leave the competition. Tune in to find out who will be saying goodbye.
