Top 5 Strictly Come Dancing 2014 week 7 performances

Strictly Come Dancing 2014 continued last night and the remaining 10 couples only have one more hurdle to get to Blackpool.

Of course one couple won’t make it but for 9 couples they’ll be getting on the Strictly minibus and heading to the seaside resort for next week’s live show. Last night Pixie Lott and Trent Whiddon topped the leaderboard whilst Judy Murray and Anton Du Beke kept the bottom warm once again.

Tonight another couple will be leaving the competition but who will it be? Ahead of the results show we’ve compiled our Top 5 performances from last night. Keep reading to find out who made the cut.

5. Pixie Lott & Trent Whiddon

Pixie Lott topped the leaderboard last night with her Foxtrot and we were quite shocked. Whilst it was a nice performance we certainly didn’t think it deserved a 10 from Darcey. Regardless these two are safe.

4. Caroline Flack & Pasha Kovalev

Caroline Flack and Pasha Kovalev did a beautiful Waltz during last night’s live show. It wasn’t the best dance they’ve done so far but we really enjoyed the performance. We’ll see them in Blackpool for sure.

3. Frankie Bridge & Kevin Clifton

The judges said it wasn’t Frankie’s best effort but we loved her Samba. Kevin Clifton continues to push her every week and we enjoyed the performance last night. Craig Revel Horwood needs to cheer up.

2. Mark Wright & Karen Hauer

Mark Wright proved that he’s as good at Ballroom as his is at Latin last night. He’s easily the most versatile of the male celebs left in the competition and kudos to Karen for such a stunning routine.

1. Simon Webbe & Kristina Rihanoff

Blue singer Simon Webbe finally showed what he was made of last night. His Quickstep with Kristina Rihanoff was fast, furious and absolutely delightful. There’s no way he’s not going to Blackpool next weekend.

Strictly Come Dancing 2014 continues tonight at 7.45pm on BBC One. Tune in to find out which couple will be heading home.
