How good was last night’s Strictly Come Dancing 2014 quarter-final?
It was so close last night that we simply cant predict who might be in the bottom two tonight during the results show. It could literally be any couple going home tonight.
With the addition of the Waltzathon last night, all of the couples scored impressive points and wowed with their individual routines. No one had a bad night and we think next week’s semi-final is going to be even closer.
We rewatched all of last night’s performances and we’ve picked our top 5…
5. Jake Wood & Janette Manrara
Jake Wood made up for his terrible performance last week by wowing with his Charleston last night. Janette Manrara really brings out the EastEnders star’s best side and his personality shined on the ballroom floor.
4. Frankie Bridge & Kevin Clifton
Last night’s Salsa wasn’t Frankie Bridge’s best dance but we still enjoyed her Salsa. It was loose and energetic and we thought Kevin Clifton’s choreography was spot on. Semi-finals should be a no-brainer for these two.
3. Simon Webbe & Kristina Rihanoff
\
Simon Webbe’s American Smooth was packed with plenty of entertainment value last night. Partnered with Kristina Rihanoff, Simon has really soared these past few weeks and we think he should be in the final.
2. Mark Wright & Karen Hauer
Mark Wright’s Foxtrot was really entertaining last night. Once again we thought he was under-scored and would have liked to have seen him nearer to 40. He and Karen Hauer definitely got their mojo back last night.
1. Caroline Flack & Pasha Kovalev
Caroline Flack is on fire at the moment. Last night’s Argentine Tango was pretty spectacular wasn’t it? Caroline and Pasha Kovalev make a fantastic team and we were wowed by last night’s performance.
Tune in to Strictly Come Dancing 2014 tonight at 7.20pm on BBC One to find out which couple will be going home.
