Lucy (Abigail Spencer), Rufus (Malcolm Barrett) and Wyatt (Matt Lanter) travelled to 1865 on the latest episode of Timeless.
The team had to stop Flynn (Goran Višnjić) from assassinating Vice President Andrew Johnson, Secretary of State William H. Seward, and General Ulysses S. Grant on the day that Abraham Lincoln was killed. Tensions rose between Lucy and Rufus when she refused to save Lincoln and change history.
Lucy met Robert Todd Lincoln (Neal Bledsoe) and was asked to accompany him to the theatre on the night Lincoln was due to be assassinated. She accepted so she could protect Grant whilst Wyatt and Rufus ensured Seward and Johnson weren’t killed. Lucy also tried to warn Lincoln about his forthcoming death but she didn’t manage to save him.
Back in the present Lucy learned that her parents never met since the timeline had been altered. That led her to discover that the men she believed to be her biological father wasn’t. She also met her fiance (Daniel di Tomasso), whom she didn’t know.
Meanwhile Rufus refused to make any more recordings for Connor (Paterson Joseph) and it was revealed they were both aware of ‘Rittenhouse’.
The next episode of the season is Atomic City. Rufus learns that the Mothership has landed in Nevada on 21 September 1962, where President John F Kennedy is attending a Las Vegas fundraiser.
