The Voice UK came to the end of its Blind Audition rounds last weekend and tonight the competition moves into the Battle Rounds.
This is the point in the show where the strongest singers soar and the weaker ones pack their bags. To prepare the contestants for the gruelling stage of the competition, the coaches all paired up with a famous friend to help get the best out of their teams.
Kylie’s team get a little help from Scissor Sisters frontman Jake Shears, Ricky Wilson enlists the help of chart-topper Katy B, will.i.am turns to last year’s contest Leah McFall, and Sir Tom Jones joins forces with Tinie Tempah (yeah we didn’t know they were friends either!). After a bit of help from the coaches, the contestants then battle it out on stage in the hopes of securing their place in the next round of the competition.
