The Official Twin Peaks UK Festival returns in October

The Official Twin Peaks UK Festival will return to Hornsey Town Hall Arts Centre in London on the 7th and 8th October 2017.

The 8th annual festival coincides with the recent return of the show to the small screen after a 25 year absence. Founded by British writer and producer Lindsey Bowden in 2010, the annual event has become a huge hit with fans and stars of the show.

This year’s event will feature Sherilyn Fenn (Audrey Horne), James Marshall (James Hurley), Michael Horse (Deputy Tommy ‘Hawk’ Hill), Kenneth Welsh (Windom Earle), Sabrina Sutherland (Executive Producer), Jake Wardle (Freddie Sykes in the current series) and Sean Bolger (Detailer current series).

More names, Q&As, signings and events are to be announced in the coming weeks.

Welcomed by The One Eyed Jacks girls (from the saloon of the same name), festival guests will have access to screenings from the show, and live performances from Lynch-inspired burlesque and cabaret act The Double R Club who produce very funny, very dark, sexy and nightmarish scenarios based on their favourite TP characters.

Hornsey Town Hall will be transformed into the legendary town of Twin Peaks and will feature plenty of surprises including a Mulholland Drive Jitterbug class and VIP and Blue Diamond ticket holders will also have the chance to step into recreations of the Great Northern Hotel bar.

The immersive event will see fans invited to experience the climax of the original Twin Peaks story, as they clamber into a train car to witness the brutal slaughter of Laura Palmer.

A misty picnic area will lead into the undercover courtyard where the Glass Box, an indelible image from early Twin Peaks: The Return will be the venue for the sinister Art Macabre to host their infamous death drawing sessions.

Other highlights include a screening of David Lynchā€™s 1992 prequel Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me, a rare chance to see Lynchā€™s 1982 film The Elephant Man starring John Hurt and Anthony Hopkins and limitless cups of coffee, damn fine cherry pie and thousands of doughnuts.

Founder and producer Lindsey Bowden says: ā€œThe Twin Peaks UK Festival was created in 2010 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of this iconic TV show. Thanks to recent re-runs there is now a whole new generation getting to know Twin Peaks, and it’s great that once a year fans from all over the world can get together to celebrate their favourite series. Now the show is back on our TV screens, this yearā€™s festival is all about looking back over the past 25 years, and at the future of the show; celebrating the world of Twin Peaks within the context of David Lynchā€™s wider body of work. It promises to be a very special festival indeed.ā€

Tickets for the event are priced from Ā£65 to Ā£325. For more information and tickets visit www.twinpeaksukfest.com
