The Newsroom: The Complete First Season is being released on Blu-ray and DVD in the UK on 22nd July 2013.
The hit show from Aaron Sorkin (The West Wing, The Social Network) stars Jeff Daniels as network achor Will McAvoy. Alongside his new executive producer Mackenzie McHale (Emily Mortimer), Will leads his team to ‘do the news well’ in the face of corporate and commercial obstacles.
The Newsroom also stars John Gallagher Jr, Alison Pill, Thomas Sadoski, Olivia Munn, Dev Patel and Sam Waterson.
Through The Newsroom Sorkin has given viewers an insight into how a news channel would cover big stories, gather facts and find witnesses.
