Syfy to unveil FanCam at London Super Comic Convention

Syfy UK has announced that it will exclusively unveil its 360 degree ‘FanCam’ for the first time in the UK at London Super Comic Convention.

The fourth annual instalment of the UK’s largest comic convention will give cosplayers the opportunity to bring their favourite moves, poses and stances to life using using the cutting-edge technology of ‘FanCam.’ The impressive panoramic camera set-up generates a full 360 degree image to capture costumes from all angles, ensuring that no detail goes unseen and providing a unique momento to keep.

Nicky Douglas, Managing Director UK, Universal Networks International, said, “Wherever possible we want to offer viewers and fans the opportunity to get up close and personal with our channel brands. Debuting ‘FanCam’ at such a popular event is a perfect opportunity for Syfy to enhance the experience of cosplayers and fans of the comic and science fiction genres. The Syfy team is looking forward to seeing attendees add a whole different dimension to their experience of the convention via our ‘FanCam.’”

The Syfy team will be on hand with a host of themed props to ensure everyone can enjoy the experience.
