Stalker cancelled after one season by CBS

Kevin Williamson’s Stalker has been cancelled after one season it has been announced.

The thriller-drama series starred Dylan McDermot, Maggie Q, Mariana Klaveno, Victor Rasuk and Elisabeth Rohm. Stalker followed the Los Angeles Threat Assessment Unit (TAU) as new member Jack (McDermott) joined the unit.

Each week the team investigated a new case of stalking with the season having an arc involving Beth (Maggie Q) and her own stalker from years earlier, who was responsible for murdering her family.

The writing was on the wall for the show after it was abruptly taken off the air in the US with three episodes of its first season left to air. The show has recently returned and there are two episodes still to be transmitted.

Stalker airs on Sky Living HD in the UK. We’re really sad to see the show go but we’re not surprised after the negative reception it received from critics and the falling ratings.
