Spotlight: Strictly’s new professional dancers

With today’s surprise Strictly Come Dancing news, we almost forgot to introduce you to the new professionals joining the show this autumn.

Whilst Flavia, Vincent, Erin and Aliona may be heading to new pastures, we’re excited to see what the new professionals bring to the table. The last time we were this excited is when Robin Windsor, Artem Chigvintsev and Jared Murillo joined the show back in 2010.

We’ve got images of each of the new professionals and a bit of info so you can get to know them.

Iveta Lukosiute

Iveta really doesn’t need much introduction does she? She joined the show temporarily last year as a replacement for Aliona Vilani, who missed the live shows due to injury. Partnered with Johnny Ball, Iveta impressed with her dancing skills. The Lithuanian-born dancer has been training in Ballroom since she was 6.

Fact lovers out there will love to know she’s also trained in Latin, Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary and Hip Hop.
