Diversity star Perri Kiely and TV presenter Michaela Strachan are the first two celebrities through to the next stage of Splash!
The hit ITV show returned for a second series tonight as Tom Daley helped a new crop of celebrities learn to dive. EastEnders actor Ricky Groves and Hollyoaks star Gemma Merna failed to impress the public and the judges whilst Perri sailed through with the highest votes.
That meant that TOWIE’s Gemma Collins and TV presenter Michaela Strachan battled it out to secure their place in the next stage of the competition. After both dived again judges Leon and Andy voted to keep Michaela whilst Jo Brand chose to keep Gemma. That meant Gemma was going home.
Splash! returns next Saturday with a new crop of celebrities – TV star Paul Ross, Boyzone’s Keith Duffy, TV presenter Anna Williamson, singer Toyah Wilcox and rugby player Martin Offiah – so tune in to find out who makes it through.
