Things got a whole lot messier on the latest episode of Scandal with the President’s (Tony Goldwyn) fake mistress being bribed by Mellie (Bellamy Young) and used a pawn by Rowan (Joe Morton)
Jeannine Locke (Samantha Sloyan), the woman used as a scapegoat to take the spotlight off Olivia (Kerry Washington) was pulled from pillar to post and ultimately screwed over. Rowan used his sway with Olivia to try and get at Fitz but the fixer appealed to her estranged lover to help her get Jake (Scott Foley) released from the hole.
We also discovered through flashbacks that it was Rowan who ordered Huck’s (Guillermo Diaz) kidnapped and turned him in to the messed up guy he is now. In the present day Huck discovered that Rowan was Olivia’s father and in charge of B613.
The next episode of the season is Mrs. Smith Goes to Washington. A mother who refuses to accept the government’s claim that her dead son was a terrorist hires Pope & Associates but thinks take a dramatic and tense turn as Olivia tries to find out the truth.
