Scandal returned in the UK for it’s third season with a bang last night and we’ve just about caught our breath.
Olivia (Kerry Washington) found herself in the middle of a Scandal when Fitz (Tony Goldwyn) leaked her name to the press as his mistress to stop Mellie (Bellamy Young) holding it over him. It didn’t quite work out as planned and Olivia’s team worked with Cyrus (Jeff Parry) to link a White House employee to Fitz and make her out to be the real mistress.
The second episode of the season is titled Guess Who’s Coming To Dinner. While Fitz is reluctant to go along with Mellie and Cyrus’s plan, flashbacks reveal more about Olivia and Rowan’s relationship.
