Last night’s Strictly Come Dancing was pure magic with nearly all of the couples turning in fantastic performances.
It’s getting harder and harder to choose the best dances of the week as the standard is ridiculously high last night. We felt a bit sorry for Countdown’s Rachel Riley who tried her best but still couldn’t win over the judges.
Take a look at the Top 5 dances of the week and let us know if you agree with us by leaving your comments in the usual place.
5. Susanna Reid & Kevin Clifton – American Smooth
These two are a wonderful partnership and every week they deliver. We didn’t think their American Smooth was their best dance to date but we absolutely loved it last night. Susanna has natural rhythm and Kevin is proving to be a fantastic choreographer.
4. Mark Benton & Iveta Lukosiute – Waltz
Is there anything Mark Benton can’t do? His Waltz with iveta was beautiful and he’s really coming along as a dancer. We heart these two.
3. Deborah Meaden & Robin Windsor – Viennese Waltz
If there was one routine that was under-marked last night it was Deborah and Robin’s Viennese Waltz. Innovative, refreshing and perfectly in time this routine deserved a much better score than it got.
2. Ashley Taylor Dawson & Ola Jordan – Jive
Ashley and Ola make a fantastic time and their energetic Jive was definitely a highlight of the evening. We felt the judges were a little picky and we think Ashley is the best of the male celebs.
1. Natalie Gumede & Artem Chigvintsev – Samba
The opening dance of the show and in our opinion the best of the night. Natalie is completely effortless when she dances and bravo to Artem getting through the dance with a nose fracture. Simply stunning.
