Mr. Robot tie-in book coming this November

A tie-in book for the hit TV series Mr. Robot is coming on 1st November 2016 it has been announced.

Released by Abrams Books, Mr. Robot: Red Wheelbarrow is the personal notebook of Elliot Alderson, the showā€™s lead character, and is the fanā€™s access into his complex psyche. The book is co-written by series creator and showrunner Sam Esmail and series writer Courtney Looney.

Before and during the events of season two, Elliot recorded his most private thoughts in his journal. Readers can experience Elliotā€™s battles to gain control of his life and his struggles to survive increasingly dangerous circumstances in a brand new story rendered in his own words. The journal also holds seven removable artefacts ā€” a ripped-out page, newspaper clipping, mysterious envelope, and more ā€” along with sketches throughout the book. Mr. Robot: Red Wheelbarrow reveals both the story behind the current season of Mr. Robot and hints of what is to come. This book is the ultimate journey into the world of the showā€”and a key to hacking the mind of its main character.

The second season of Mr. Robot is currently airing on Amazon Prime Video in the UK. The show follows Elliot Alderson (Remi Malek), a cyber-security engineer who becomes involved in the underground hacker group fsociety, after being recruited by their mysterious leader (Christian Slater).

Mr. Robot has received three Golden Globe Award nominations and two wins including Best Drama, a Peabody Award, four Criticsā€™ ChoiceĀ® Award nominations and three wins, and two Writers Guild Award nominations and one win for Best New Series.
