Mistresses season 4 returns this summer (in the US at least) and the ladies will be joined by the return of a familiar face.
Before you get too excited Alyssa Milano isn’t returning to the show as Savi but TVLine has reported that Tabrett Bethell will return to the show as Harry’s (Brett Tucker) sister Kate. Bethell previously appeared in an episode of season 2 when Harry considered moving back to Australia.
According to TVLine ‘Kate will return from Down Under in search of love, but find it in all the wrong places — a fact that will cause tension between herself and Harry, herself and Joss (Jes Macallan), and even Joss and Harry. But that drama won’t prevent her from becoming integrated into the core group of women, including Yunjin Kim’s Karen and Rochelle Aytes’ April.’
The third season of the show was the first without Milano, who left when the show changed its shooting location from Los Angeles to Vancouver. Jennifer Esposito joined for a one season arc as Calista Raines and her character was last seen contemplating suicide in prison. For its fourth season the show is returning to Los Angeles meaning a cameo from Milano isn’t out of the question.
Jerry O’Connell (Sliders, Scream 2) has also been announced as part of the season 4 cast but who will he be a love interest for? It looks like it could be everyone’s favourite hot mess Karen (Yunjin Kim).
