X Factor judge Mel B may miss this weekend’s grand final after it was revealed she is suffering from a mystery illness.
It has been reported by various publications that Mel B collapsed earlier in the week and has had to sit out of rehearsals ahead of the final. It is believed that the Spice Girl is worried about passing her illness onto her finalist Andrea Faustini.
Mel missed out on the press conference yesterday where she was expected to campaign for her act Andrea to win this weekend. Her place was taken by fellow judges Louis Walsh and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini who showed their support for Andrea in Mel’s absence.
We hope Mel makes a full recovery and is able to make it to the final this weekend. She’s been the breakout star of the show this year and it would be a shame if she were to miss Andrea’s final performances of the series.
The X Factor 2014 continues at 8.30pm tomorrow night on ITV.
