Matt Bomer (White Collar) and Cheyenne Jackson (Glee) have been confirmed as part of the cast for the upcoming fifth season of American Horror Story.
The news of the casting came during Paleyfest yesterday. Bomer and Jackson will join previously announced cast member Lady Gaga in the new season.
Due to debut this autumn, American Horror Story: Hotel will see Bomer working with Ryan Murphy once again following his stints Glee and American Horror Story: Freak Show as well as his starring role in the critically-acclaimed The Normal Heart. Jackson has also previously work with Murphy on Glee.
It is not yet known what characters they will play or how large their roles are.
American Horror Story: Hotel has been labelled a ‘reinvention’ of the series and Jessica Lange has confirmed that she will not be a part of the new season. During the Paleyfest panel Lange announced she was ‘done’ with the show. There’s no word on the status of American Horror Story regulars Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters as of yet.
