Mad Men will return to the UK for the first half of its final season on Wednesday 16th April at 10pm on Sky Atlantic HD.
The seventh and final season of the show will air in the UK 3 days after AMC’s US premiere. The season will consist of 14 episodes with the first seven airing this year and the final seven airing in spring 2015.
Of the final episodes, creator and executive producer Matthew Weiner said: āWe plan to take advantage of this chance to have a more elaborate story told in two parts, which can resonate a little bit longer in the minds of our audience. The writers, cast and other artists welcome this unique manner of ending this unique experience.ā
Season six marked a huge change for the show as Sterling Coopr Draper Pryce merged with rival agency Cutler Gleason and Chaough. At the end of the season Don (Jon Hamm) was forced to take an extended leave of absence after revealing his past during a client meeting.
We can’t wait for the show to return and will be sad when it waves goodbye next year.
