Lord Sugar to quit The Apprentice?

Lord Sugar may quit The Apprentice in 2014.

The Apprentice’s main man has been at the realm of the show since it began ten years ago.

However, Lord Sugar’s main advisor on the show, Nick Hewer, has claimed that Lord Sugar may not return for 2014.

Hewer told the Radio Times: “He is all over this show for 12 months of the year, every task, every aspect of the scheduling, marketing.

“He’s very devoted – possibly to the detriment of his other business interests.

“I wouldn’t be surprised if, after ten years, he said, ‘Actually, lads – I think I’ve done my bit.’

“I’m only speculating, I’ve got no idea. He might say he’s only going to do 11 or 12 series, but then find it hard to walk away because it’s his baby.”

The Apprentice continues tonight on BBC One, with the interview stage of the competition.
