Holby City actor Joe McFadden is the sixth celebrity contestant confirmed for Strictly Come Dancing.
The news was revealed today on the official Strictly Come Dancing Twitter and Facebook accounts.
Joe said, “Strictly is one of the biggest, most entertaining shows on TV and being asked to be part of it is a once in a lifetime opportunity that I’m thrilled and terrified about in equal measures!”
The Scottish born actor is best-known for his role of Raffaello ‘Raf’ di Lucca in BBC One’s medical drama Holby City. He’s also appeared in Heartbeat, Take the High Road, The Crow Road and Sex, Chips & Rock ‘n’ Roll.
McFadden has also appeared in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Rent on the West End in London.
Other stars already confirmed for Strictly Come Dancing are Reverend Richard Coles, Gemma Atkinson, Ruth Langsford, Davood Ghadami and Mollie King. More celebrities will be announced in the coming days.
